On October 18th, 2020 Growing Chefs kicked off their 11th annual From Farms to Forks fundraising event: an online celebration with a series of food-focused events over a 4-week period.
Anh and Chi is one of four local restaurants who contributed to the Secret Menu only accessible to VIP pass holders. We donated all Secret Menu orders back to Growing Chefs who have raised nearly $52,000 to date from the fundraising series.
Although VIP Food Series Passes are sold out, individual event tickets range from $10 (for virtual access only) to $75 (includes ingredients and beverages) are still available. Growing Chefs hopes to raise $65,000 to offer food literacy programs to hundreds of BC kids in Greater Vancouver and Greater Victoria.
Many kids lack access to healthy, whole food, or know where food comes from and how it’s grown. Growing Chefs create a space for young people to learn food literacy skills, providing them with delicious and nutritious meals, and engaging them in the food system in a healthy way.
