Anh and Chi’s Warming Winter Punch Is Literally on Fire, and You Need to Try It
By Talia Kleinplatz | Scout Magazine
Punch season is upon us, folks! Our winter gatherings are made all the more festive with a bowl loaded with spirits, fruit, sugar and tea to be shared in good company. Lucky for us, Main Street’s award-winning Vietnamese restaurant, Anh and Chi, always features a seasonally rotating punch on their drinks menu. This year, the winter recipe is filled with rum-friendly warming spices — perfect for dark days like these. Aged rum, pineapple, passion fruit, cinnamon, five spice dram, citrus and tea are combined in a teapot and topped with flaming fruit and a sprinkle of freshly-grated nutmeg. Seen above and below (as concocted by bartender Vanessa Coupar) it’s as beautifully fragrant as it is delicious, and you need to try it!
